Jal High School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic High School Math Teacher / Coach to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about student success in both academics and athletics, and who is committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, and the community.
Responsibilities:
• Teach high school mathematics courses (assignment based on experience and certification)
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Monitor and support student academic progress
• Serve as a coach for assigned sport(s) and promote student-athlete development
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom and team environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
• Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
• Coaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to student growth and extracurricular involvement

Jal Jr/Sr High School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 6–12 Science Teacher / Coach to join our team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about science instruction and committed to inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning, while also contributing to our athletic programs.
Responsibilities:

Teach science courses for grades 6–12 (subject areas may include life science, physical science, and/or chemistry/physics based on certification)

Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans

Incorporate hands-on experiments, labs, and real-world applications

Assess and monitor student progress and provide timely feedback

Maintain a safe and organized classroom/lab environment

Serve as a coach for assigned sport(s) and support student-athlete development

Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship

Qualifications:
