CONSTRUCTION UPDATE!!!

Tired of living in a never ending construction zone???  WE ARE TOO!!!  Our goal is to use all of our available resources to build the best facilities possible for our students and the community of Jal.  The money we are using is collected from oil and gas taxes with no residential taxes currently being collected.  If we don’t use these resources there are others who would love to!  Here is an update on all of the projects currently going on in the district.

1. Elementary addition: The Elementary construction is progressing smoothly. The outside walls are nearing completion, and the inside walls are going up. The electrical and plumbing are also progressing.
2. Junior High addition: The Junior High addition is progressing, the steel is in and construction crews are finishing up the concrete slabs, waiting on the weather to warm up a bit before the largest pour that will make up the heart of the building. 
3. Baseball Field: The Baseball concession is about to go vertical as soon as the foundation is completed. The septic system has been completed.
4. Football Field: The Football field is also being worked on. The press box is being re-skinned and the site work for the indoor facility is nearing completion with all electrical infrastructure being installed.
